    Abstract

    The Hospital Information System(HIS) dataset contains hospital records of individuals who were admitted and discharged at Hlabisa Hospital between 01 January 2011 and 15 April 2019. The data contains one record per hospital admission for patients. Women admitted for normal vaginal delivery and their babies are not included in this dataset.

    Hlabisa hospital is located in uMkhanyakude district and is situated in the north-west of the Hluhluwe /Umfolozi Game Reserve. The hospital serves communities in the Hlabisa, Mtubatuba and part of the big five municipalities. There are 17 clinics which fall under the hospital.
