An unformatted summary describing the purpose, nature, and scope of the data collection, special characteristics of its contents, major subject areas covered, and what questions the PIs attempted to answer when they conducted the study. A listing of major variables in the study is important here.
In-depth individual interviews were conducted to assess various domains regarding young people's preferences for access to sexually transmitted infection (STI) care. The interviews were conducted with adolescents and young adults, peer navigators, and nurses; the latter employed by the Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI). Interviews covered several domains relating to STIs - existing knowledge, sources of information, cultural beliefs, prior experiences, preferences for accessing STI screening programs.
