Imputation and derivation

Imputation

When VPLFUDate was incomplete or missing, or when this date was inconsistent (i.e. after VisitDate), a new date was randomly generated within a window taking into account Year and/or month if available in VPLFUDate.

Otherwise, VisitDate (i.e. the date the transferred out was documented) was used.

To identify when that date was imputed, please look at ExitDateComputedEstimated variable.

Please note that LFUDateComputed was computed only for Losts to follow-up corresponding to a clinic exit (ClinicExitComputed==1)

Notes

(i) if exit date was missing or (ii) the year of the exit date was unknown or (iii) exit date was after VisitDate, then VisitDate (the date the exit from has been completed) was used instead of the exit date.
