The aim of the study is to develop the infrastructure to allow testing, and evaluation of clinical utility of a range of technologies to improve HIV testing, prevention, treatment and care. By necessity, the bulk of activity will be for formative qualitative work, and stakeholder engagement. nevertheless, mAfrica will also support continual development of specific diagnostic tests, to lay foundations for future opportunities.
